BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Star Athletic Association Golfers-of-the-Week announced their ninth installment of the Golfers-of-the-Week honors Tuesday.  Jayce Johnson of Dickinson State (N.D.) was named the Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week.  There were no nominees for the Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week.

NSAA Men’s Golfer of the Week
Jayce Johnson – Dickinson State (N.D.) – Freshman – Mandan, N.D. – Johnson recorded the second round of 80 strokes (9-over-par) in the NCAA Division II South Dakota Mines Hardrockers Invitational for Dickinson State (N.D.).  He kicked off the first round of the Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) Invitational by shooting 1-under-par (71 strokes).

Looking Ahead (Men’s/Women’s)
Bellevue (Neb.) women’s golf team heads to Lincoln, Neb., Monday and next Tuesday for the Kaitlyn Erickson Invitational, hosted by Doane (Neb.).  The Bruin men’s golf team competes on the second day of the Midwest Spring National in Manhattan, Kan., Tuesday (today).

Dickinson State (N.D.), Mayville State (N.D.), and Valley City State (N.D.) continue their action on the second day of the Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) Invitational Tuesday (today) in Mitchell, S.D. 

Jamestown (N.D.) is in Sioux Falls, S.D., Tuesday (today) for the second day of the NCAA Division II Augustana (S.D.) Invitational.

Dickinson State will host their home tournament on Sunday and Monday.  Jamestown, Mayville State, and Valley City State are scheduled to compete in the tournament.
