KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2024-25 NAIA Women’s Basketball All-America teams Monday. Three North Star Athletic Association athletes were listed on the All-America teams.
Tabor Teel, 2024-25 NSAA Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Year and NSAA All-Conference First Team selection, was named NAIA All-America Second Team for Dakota State (S.D.). She led the Trojans with 13.8 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. She shot 47.1 percent from the field, which was the fifth best in the NSAA conference.
Two other NSAA Women’s Basketball All-Conference First Team selections, Kate Cordes of Jamestown (N.D.) and Mackenzie Hughes of Mayville State (S.D.), were named to NAIA All-America Third Team.
Cordes averaged 19.6 points per game for the Jimmies, while Hughes led the North Star conference with 20.9 points per game this season. Cordes shot 46.2 percent from the 3-point line. Hughes was 45.1 percent from the field.
