BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Star Athletic Association announced its second installment of the Women’s and Men’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes-of-the-Week Tuesday. Dickinson State (N.D.) swept the women’s weekly honors with Adarra Hagelund as the Field Athlete-of-the-Week and Kaitlyn McColly as the Track Athlete-of-the-Week. Dakota State (S.D.) swept the men’s honors with Treshawn Roberts as the Field Athlete-of-the-Week and Nolan Slominski as the Track Athlete-of-the-Week.
North Star Athletic Association Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Adarra Hagelund– Dickinson State (N.D.) – Sophomore – Soldotna, Alaska – Hagelund captured the women’s high jump title at the NAIA Preview/D2 Open, hosted by NCAA Division I South Dakota State, for Dickinson State (N.D.). She set a school and North Star Athletic Association record jump of 1.75 meters (5 feet, 8.75 inches). Hagelund’s mark also hit the NAIA ‘A’ automatic qualifying mark and currently leads the NAIA in women’s high jump.
North Star Athletic Association Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Treshawn Roberts – Dakota State (S.D.) – Senior – Auburn, Wash. – Roberts won the heptathlon title at NAIA Preview/D2 Open, hosted by NCAA Division I South Dakota State, for Dakota State (S.D.). He scored 4,908 points, which is the second-best score in school history. He is currently ranked second in the NAIA’s heptathlon. Roberts added an eighth-place finish in the pole vault event after clearing the height of 4.20 meters (13 feet, 9.25 inches). He cleared a height of 4.25 meters (13 feet, 11.25 inches) in pole vault during the heptathlon event, which is the 10
th best mark in Dakota State school history.
North Star Athletic Association Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Kaitlyn McColly – Dickinson State (N.D.) – Junior – Hinsdale, Mont. – McColly finished third in the 60-meter hurdles for Dickinson State (N.D.) at the NAIA Preview/D2 Open, hosted by NCAA Division I South Dakota State. She broke the school record time of 8.59 seconds and posted the fastest time by a North Star Athletic Association female athlete in the history of the conference. Her time hit the NAIA ‘A’ automatic qualifying time, which she already did in the 60-meter hurdles prelims with a time of 8.70 seconds. McColly also finished third in the long jump with 5.40 meters mark (17 feet, 8.75 inches) and sixth in the 400-meters with a time of 59.97 seconds.
North Star Athletic Association Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Nolan Slominski – Dakota State (S.D.) – Freshman – Blair, Neb. – Dakota State’s (S.D.) Slominski placed third in the 600-meters and anchored the sixth-place 4 x 800-meter relay at the NAIA Preview/D2 Open, hosted by NCAA Division I South Dakota State. He clocked a time of 1 minute, 22.54 seconds in the 600-meters, which currently ranks first in the North Star Athletic Association. Slominski anchored the 4 x 800-meter relay team with a time of 7 minutes, 52.42 seconds, which is the sixth fastest in school history.

Bellevue (Neb.) travels to Crete, Neb., on Saturday for the Fred Beile Classic hosted by Doane (Neb.).
Dakota State (S.D.) heads to Mitchell, S.D. on Saturday for the Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) Alumni Invitational.
Dickinson State (N.D.) and Valley City State (N.D.) prepare for the two-day Bison Open, hosted by NCAA Division I North Dakota State in Fargo, N.D., on Friday and Saturday.
Viterbo (Wis.) competes in the NCAA Division III Ripon (Wis.) meet, the Red Hawk Meet, on Saturday.
Waldorf (Iowa) is idle until Feb. 9-10 as they compete in the NCAA Division I South Dakota State Indoor Classic in Brookings, S.D.
