2025 NSAA Softball All-Conference & Postseason awards announced

The awards recognition was held at the Buck Auditorium in Kleinfelter Hall on the campus of Dickinson State (N.D.)

DICKINSON, N.D. – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) announced their 2025 Softball All-Conference Teams, Gold Glove team and postseason awards Thursday evening.  The awards recognition was held at the Buck Auditorium in Kleinfelter Hall on the campus of Dickinson State (N.D.).

The NSAA Softball All-Conference Teams, Gold Glove Team and postseason awards were voted by the league coaches.  The 2025 NSAA All-Conference Teams consists of 31 recipients, 20 athletes on the first team and 11 athletes on the second team.  The Champions of Character recipients are also announced. 

Dickinson State (N.D.) has a total of eight individuals on the All-Conference teams, six recipients on the First Team All-Conference.

The North Star also announced its 9-member Gold Glove team for displaying their outstanding defensive performance.

In the NSAA postseason awards, Hope Ransome of Jamestown (N.D.) was selected as Pitcher-of-the-Year.  Celina Wilharm of Dickinson State and Katie Cunningham of Bellevue was selected as Co-Player-of-the-Year. Mariah Unverzagt of Bellevue (Neb.) was chosen as the Newcomer-of-the-Year, while her teammate Kaitlyn Fisher was named the Freshman-of-the-Year.  Kevin Gall of Jamestown was named the NSAA Softball Coach-of-the-Year.

A new postseason award was added this year, an Assistant Coach of the Year.  That award went to Kelly Cheshier of Bellevue.

The 2025 NSAA Softball Postseason Tournament kicked off earlier Thursday.

The double-elimination tournament format continues through Sunday with the championship game.  The conference tournament is being held on Bravera Field on the Sanford Sports Complex in Dickinson.
