BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Star Athletic Association Golfers-of-the-Week announced their eleventh and final edition of the Golfers-of-the-Week honors Thursday.  selected the Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week.  Cayden Wynne of Bellevue (Neb.) was named the Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week. 

NSAA Women’s Golfer of the Week
Maria Pinedo – Bellevue (Neb.) – Junior – Neiva, Colombia – Pinedo placed second in the Bent Tree Intercollegiate, played at the 5,861-yard, par-72 Bent Tree Golf Club in Council Bluffs, Iowa, for Bellevue (Neb.).  She finished the tournament at 8-over-par with rounds of 73 (1-over-par) and 79 (7-over-par).  Pinedo collected three birdies and 23 parts over the 36-hole tournament.

No nominees.  

Looking Ahead (Men’s/Women’s)
The 2024-25 North Star Athletic Association Golf Championships return for third and fourth rounds action.  The spring conference tournament will take place at Woodland Hills Golf Course in Eagle, Neb., on Monday and Tuesday.  The team winner will receive North Star’s automatic bid for the NAIA National Championships in May

The women’s national tournament is slated to take place at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, Mich., on May 13-16.  The men’s national tournament is scheduled for May 20-23 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.
