MSU's Jones named to NAIA Men's Basketball All-America Third Team

NSAA Men's Basketball Player-of-the-Year recipient honored by NAIA national office

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its three men’s basketball All-America teams Monday, just days after the conclusion of the 86th annual NAIA Men’s Basketball National Championship.

North Star Athletic Association Men’s Basketball Player-of-the-Year Darren Jones of Mayville State (N.D.) was named to the Third Team All-America Team.  He averaged 15.5 points and 7.6 rebounds per game for the Comets.  He also collected 25 steals, 28 assists, and 10 blocks.  He was 52.4 percent from the field (89-of-170).
