DICKINSON, N.D. – The Dickinson State women’s track and field team closed the book on a dynasty by capturing their eighth consecutive NSAA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship, winning the 2025 title with 340 points.

The Blue Hawks were followed by Dakota State (241), Valley City State (100), Jamestown (99), and Bellevue (5) in the final women’s standings of the North Star Athletic Association.

Karly Just of Valley City State was named both NSAA Women’s MVP and Track Athlete of the Year after sweeping the 1500, 5000, and 10,000 meters — leading all athletes in total individual points. Dickinson State’s Kori Nagel earned Field Athlete of the Year honors after winning both the shot put (14.38m) and hammer throw (57.19m).

Blue Hawk head coach Shayne Wittkopp was named Women’s Coach of the Year, leading his team to wins in all three relays and 12 individual titles. Senior leaders Kaitlyn McColly and Jewel Olson anchored the effort, combining for five event wins between them.

With this final victory, Dickinson State ends the NSAA era having won every women’s outdoor championship since 2017.
